Autism: Shameless

Is it a bad that Jack is running around in his sister's old Hello Kitty underwear while my in-laws are here visiting from out of state?

The potty training is going well, but it's been a two-accident day and I'm fresh out of clean boxers with the gender-appropriate dinosaur print.

He's wearing an Indiana Jones t-shirt ...

I figure that makes it a wash, right?

Oh definitely, I'm right there with you on this one. Mine have changed their clothing too many times to count today [voluntarily] and one accident due to a fit of hysterical laughter.....ah well.
Cheers

My niece would only consent to potty train if she could have Thomas the Train underwer!

(insert evil laugh)

but seriously, in the name of potty training .. neither snow nor sleet nor particularly feminine japanese cartoon characters shall stand in the way of the appointed mission .. or something like that

Superdad is well-informed ... and Mimi and Granddaddy kept their shock and horror to themselves ..

Hey, at least they weren't Barbie underwear!

Love your blog. And, I can understand what you're going through. My son, also Jack, is 3 1/2, with ASD, and trying to potty train. He's an only child, so when we're out of undies, we're out!

We'll all get there, one day, but it sometimes feels a long way off.

Keep up the great work with the potty training! In my opinion the Indiana Jones tee balances the Hello Kitty undies, so you're good.

Or another way to look at it, Jack is in touch with both his feminine and masculine sides. Very Zen!

Love,
Katherine

LOL!!! Pretty funny! You are not the only one though.

Natalie has been daytime potty trained for awhile but is running around in her night-time pull-ups today because she just doesn't have any clean undies. And I have no accidents to blame!!

And there have been nights where Jacob has gone commando in his shorts to bed...lol...
